General
What is CloudOps Network?
A vetted network of independent cloud and AI engineers. Companies use it to hire engineers on contract. Independent engineers use it to find work and to access provider-funded benefits on qualifying projects.
How is this different from a freelance marketplace?
Engineers are invited and vetted rather than self-listed, there is no platform fee on either side, and CloudOps Network is the contracting party with delivery accountability. You get a shortlist rather than a search box.
How is this different from a consultancy?
You are not buying a methodology or a pyramid of juniors. You get the specific engineers you interviewed, at rates you see before the interview, on 30 days notice.
How quickly can we get engineers?
A shortlist in about 72 hours, interviews within a week, and a typical start inside two weeks of a signed statement of work.
What does it cost?
Companies pay an agreed rate or fixed project price with no platform fee, subscription or placement fee. Engineers pay nothing at any stage.
Which technologies do you cover?
Cloud infrastructure, DevOps and SRE, data engineering, FinOps, and AI across generative, agentic, machine learning and infrastructure specialisations. AWS is the deepest bench, with Azure and Google Cloud coverage available.
Where do you operate?
North America, the UK and EU, the Middle East, India, Singapore and Australia, with engineers filtered on time zone overlap before you see a shortlist.
Who contracts with whom?
Companies contract with CloudOps Network under a single statement of work. Engineers hold a subcontractor agreement with CloudOps Network. That structure is what puts delivery accountability in one place.
Do you sign NDAs and data processing agreements?
Yes, both, and security addenda. We will work from your paper where you have standard documents.
Who owns the work produced?
The client does. IP assignment is written into the statement of work and assigns on payment.
Can we hire an engineer permanently?
Yes. A conversion fee applies, stepping down over the first twelve months, and it is written into the statement of work at the start.
How do I get in touch with a person?
Write to hello@cloudopsnetwork.com for hiring, or partner@cloudopsnetwork.com if you are an engineer. Both are read by people.

Matched, contracted, overseen
One statement of work with CloudOps Network, a named delivery lead, and progress reviews through to handover.
